FAITHWALKING 201 SERIES Please see the registration link below. The Faithwalking 101 Retreat creates awareness of the need for real breakthroughs in order to experience personal transformation as an ongoing reality and to be restored to God’s original design for us. During the Faithwalking 101 weekend, participants begin to focus on places of habitual disobedience and the vows that keep that disobedience in place.
Faithwalking 201 is a twenty-six (26) week small group experience in which participants do the work that moves us from awareness of need for breakthroughs to actual breakthroughs. Imagine the freedom to be fully alive, habitually obedient, faithfully and fruitfully on mission with God!! Faithwalking 201 incorporates seminars presented every other week during a 75 minute gathering led by a trained facilitator, weekly homework assignments that generally require one to one-and-a-half additional hours of work, and a weekly coaching session with a personal transformation Coach. The goals of Faithwalking 201 are: - to produce breakthroughs for you in eliminating the power that your vows have over you in your relationships and your life, and
- to prepare you to launch or join a missional community that experiences mutually beneficial, authentic relationships while producing measurable impact in extending God’s Kingdom through serving together.
In Faithwalking 201 participants who have completed Faithwalking 101 meet every other week with a group leader. The concepts and tools of 101 are reinforced with teachings and testimonies during the seminars held every two weeks, while weekly homework helps us implement our learning as it moves us into action. It is in doing the homework that the impact of our vows surface, and new habits are given opportunity to be established. The presentations, the homework, and the experiences of your fellow 201 participants help us overcome the obstacles that have habitually kept us stuck in less than full obedience and effectiveness. Further, the sessions and homework provide training and development in the skills needed to serve as a catalyst who mobilizes the Body of Christ in home, neighborhood, workplace or third place. Each Faithwalking 201 participant is given a Personal Transformation Coach who encourages and provides accountability for completing the homework and getting maximum benefit from the course. There is a weekly coaching call that takes 30 to 45 minutes. We believe that experience transforms – not information. So, telling the truth about places where you get stopped, and taking on actions that overcome those obstacles, are key to sustaining the on-going personal transformation and missional living. Your coach will be an invaluable resource in this journey. Faithwalking 201 is offered for free as a reflection of our commitment to the transformation of the city. Attendance at the first session of 201 is mandatory, and you must know that you are able to participate in at least 9 of the 12 sessions.
