Faithwalking is the leadership development arm of Mission Houston. We believe that the world has changed so much - and the Church in our culture has changed so little - that on both fronts transformation is needed. We are loosing the cities of our country at supersonic speeds. It is no longer enough for the Kingdom of God to make progress. We must seek the transformational advance of the Kingdom in our cities. For our cities to be transformed, those of who profess to follow Christ must also be transformed. That's what Faithwalking is about.

Our purpose statement: Faithwalking is creating a community of disciples of Jesus who are catalysts, mobilizing Christians to become the functioning Body of Christ in their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces and 3rd places:

· To serve the poor, the marginalized, and those in need
· To work to restore individuals, social systems, communities and nations to God's design.

This purpose statement drives everything we do. It drives the reason that we are here. And it expresses the hope that we have in Jesus' ability to redeem and restore the places that we live and work.
